From Mrs. Rita Marley

From her biography, Mrs. Marley discusses early life with Bob.

“While I was gone Bob would clean the house and cook a meal so we’d have something to eat when we arrived. And there he’d be when the bus pulled up, just as he always said, “Rita, you look out for me when the bus come, I’ll be standing up waiting for you.” Years later when he was called “the first Third World Superstar” and the “Negus” of reggae (meaning “the semidivine Ultimate”), I always want to remind people what led there.”
